  I went to Tim Horton's, as I do every day for my coffee, and had the most unpleasant experience ever! Not only was the service slow this morning, but I get to work and start drinking my coffee, only to find out there is a clear plastic bag in my cup. The size of a sandwich bag! Not impressed at all! What did that bag contain before it entered my coffee? Not only that, but how do you pour coffee in a cup, and not see a bag in it? How do you stir a coffee, and not notice foreign material inside the cup? Absolutely disgusted! I expect to be compensated for this horrible experience! (May 1st 2017) I would post zero stars, but it will not allow me to. UPDATE: So I go back to the Tim Horton's this morning (one day after). I ask to speak to the manager. Showed her what was in my coffee. She pulls it out, and it is not a clear plastic bag, but a cigarette package wrapper. She then proceeds to tell me that nobody in the building smokes. Then she asks me if I smoke. I told her that was irrelevant, but yes, I am a smoker. She was trying to put the blame on me. I told her I didn't appreciate this, and that I didn't even open my coffee until I got to work, and plus I have two witnesses. She proceeds to tell me again that nobody in the restaurant smokes so....... I don't know what to tell you. This is your customer service???? I had to provide her with the names of my witnesses, and contact phone numbers. Seriously???? All I wanted was a basic apology, and my coffee replaced. After the way I was treated by the manager on duty, I can definitely say I will not be back to this store period. Far beyond disappointed. I will be contacting head office today.

  The owners of this Tim's also own the one on Hwy 20 and Merretville, which is better managed. I agree with others who comment here that the service lacks... personal care. Funny how the environment of one store can be so different from another just a couple km up the road. I suggest giving them time to work things out, though, and think that the store manager for the morning shift is getting better.
