  Swiss Chalet had an issue in the kitchen with our meal not being hot and substituted for hot almost instantly. Love this place

  The food great!! Love new look,although noisy. BUT Will not be back as have complained quite few times about the sewer smell in bathroom!!! Tonight as others, the smell so overpowering wanted to be SICK. What a way to end meal.what a waste of money. !I was so nauseated.i couldn't even go to bathroom or loose dinner! Want to give Welland the business, but not anymore Why they would spend all the money fixing and not fix this issue, which has been here for years, is beyond me!!!!! Maybe since it is sewer, it is City problem.??? Sewer produces a gas does it not??

  This place used to be awful. We had awful service every time we've been. It seems to be a little bit better now after the renovations.

  Sadly there is no -1 star option. Arrived near end of lunch hour - we were promptly seated, staff seemed nice if a bit rushed. Ordered 2 festive season specials. While we were waiting I noticed many tables had several plates on them - curious.... Our food arrived - baked potato had 1 teaspoon of sour cream, no butter, or chives, just sour cream. Dressing was ICE cold - has it been cooked???? we complain to the waitress - 2 plates with a scoop of hot dressing arrive at the table..... ahhhh, now I understand where all the extra plates are coming from. I have to ask for our sauce/gravy, I have to ask for butter for the potato, I have to ask for the hot water with lemon - twice. Took forever for the waitress to bring our bill, then another wait for the payment machine to show up. Food was mediocre at best. That was our first & last visit. It's a big town I'm sure we can find somewhere better to spend our 'dinner out' money.
